Tofu Ryouri Online
a new Japanese tofu cooking experience
a new Japanese tofu cooking experience
Hajimemashite! (初めまして!）Nice to meet you!
I’m Pat Tokuyama and if we haven’t met before I’m the creator of Alldayieatlikeashark, a blog where I share my love of Japanese food and a little travel.
Thanks to the power of books, I’ve adjusted my diet and cooking habits to incorporate more plant-based foods such as whole grains, soy and in particular tofu.
My new Tofu cookbook is my way of giving back to the world after books I read gave much to me in the way of diet and perspective on food.
Tofu Ryouri celebrates the might little tofu block, Japanese style!
In this book and online program, I share my knowledge of Japanese food and culture.
While at the same time inspire and guide you on a tasty tofu journey to Japan.
The Tofu Ryouri Online program is an extension of the cookbook, featuring videos for each recipe in the book.
Along with additional materials to keep you cooking tofu all year long.
A lot more popular these days than it used to be, thanks to the spread of sushi and ramen.
But even if you didn’t, the Tofu Ryouri online program might help you discover for yourself what Japanese food really tastes like.
The majority of the recipes in Tofu Ryouri (the cookbook and this online program) take 30 minutes or less.
Many don’t require the use of oil, meat or other heavily processed/refined foods.
The Tofu Ryouri book and program are a reflection of the transformation I underwent a few years ago.
After reading several books on food, diet and our cultural upbringing as it relates to those topics, I changed my cooking habits.
I used to eat meat and processed foods on a daily basis.
Now, I reserve meat for special occasions.
I also cook more with beans, grains, and organic produce.
This transformation also led me on the path to finding one of my true loves, tofu.
Tofu is one of the most versatile ingredients you can cook with.
It’s easy to find and easy to season.
It’s low in calories and high in protein.
It’s also very nutritious, with a range of natural vitamins and minerals.
It’s one of the few plant-based sources of food which contains all essential amino acids (meaning you don’t need to eat meat).
These are just a few of the reasons that I’ve incorporated more tofu into my diet.
Tofu Ryouri is a cookbook that features over 30 Japanese tofu recipes.
This online program includes videos tied to each recipe in the Tofu Ryouri cookbook.
Starting in 2019, each month two new recipes and videos will also be added to the program.
Read on below to see if the Tofu Ryouri Online program is a good fit for you –
